Owing to the just concluded general elections within the country, universities are gradually resuming school activities. LASU has officially stated their resumption date as seen in this article.

Lagos State University staff and students resumed academic and administrative activities on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

Remember that the University Senate had previously given staff and students instructions to leave the campus on Thursday, February 23, 2023, and return on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, in response to the Ministerial directive to close all university Inter-University Centers during the 2023 general elections.

The general elections for the state's governor and house of representatives were postponed, so the start date was changed to Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

Therefore, following the terms of service, all staff members must start working at 8:00 am and end at 4:00 pm daily. At the same time, students are expected to continue with their classes and exams on time.
